Strategic Planning

Especially in chaotic times, solving problems is the name of the game.

In the midst of all of the current events in the marketplace, it’s important to have a voice that is clearly heard and understood.  Making noise for the sake of getting attention may seem like a logical start, but being clearly heard and understood is way more important and effective for what you want to accomplish for your organization.

Here are three important concepts for you to consider when it comes to gaining the best and most effective attention in the marketplace:

1. Know your customer’s crisis.

There are plenty of solutions in the marketplace, but few of them actually become successful.  A big mistake that organizations make is the false assumption that they know what their customers really want, without actually doing the research.  Do your research and find the biggest needs in the marketplace for your customers.

2. Solve the crisis for the customer.

Once you have a solid understanding of what your customers really need, now it’s time to solve the crisis for your customer.  It’s not just providing a product that is effective for the crisis, though.  It also requires the services that provide a complete, fully satisfying experience for the customer.

3.  Present the value propositon which solves the crisis.

A value proposition is all about offering the marketplace – and especially your potential and current customers – a powerful, compelling reason to do business with you.  Gaining trust and credibility, whether you are just starting out or you are already established, is the name of the game.  You need to win their trust, which starts with a value proposition.  Clearly state what you offer and why you have the best solutions.

Your customers are looking for the solutions to solve their problems and their needs.  Be sure to be active in the marketplace to communicate how and why you provide solutions for them!
